Late to the game, but..

I LOVE Supernatural on the CW. When I first heard about this show, I figured it was just a male knockoff of Buffy the Vampire Slayer mated with some Twilight. The show being on the CW didn't help shake the weird vibe. So I ignored it...And I ignored it. But a couple of months ago, I was up early with nothing to do before class, so I watched an episode that was on. Wow is all I can say. Top notch acting, smart scripts, and after looking on youtube, hilarious bloopers. I just hate that I waited until it was like 6 seasons in to start watching.

I just started watching thanks to my girlfriend. I love the blues references and the music selection. Overall I would not say it is a great show, but I enjoy it from time to time.

My gf got me into it. At first i was like, "oh, you like looking at these two young guys"....

She said no, it isn't like that, just watch. I hated it at first. They overact, it's campy....

BUt now it's one of my favorite shows on tv. They don't take themselves too seriously (hence the overacting) and some episodes are sort of like the X-Files in a sense. Great show!

In one episode they introduce themselves as Officer Angus and Officer Young. Cool.

I've been watching the newer episodes a bit. I think the next one is supposed to be meta out the wazoo, and I can't wait.

I can't get into it.
Have friends that love it though.

I was more of a Reaper guy.

You know, I never did watch Reaper. I just never could get into it for some reason.

Okay, so someone I follow on Twitter watches this show all the time. The only thing I can judge from her comments is this show is about two gay guys fighting ghosts.

Is that true?
