Fender Mustang V Speaker Choice

Just ordered a Fender Mustang V and I have an Avatar 2x12 with V30s in it. They're 16 ohm so I'm going to need to get some new 8 ohm speakers so that I can run the cabinet in stereo. What's a good choice for this amp?

I like classic rock, blues and every now and then like to get a jangly fender clean.

I think one problem you have with getting a response is the Mustang III, IV and V are relatively new so the well of knowledge isn't very deep with regard to what speakers are in there let alone what works well. A modelling amp has to have a speaker that will cover a lot of ground.

I have a Mustang IV and was wondering what a pair of Eminence Legend GB128s or maybe a pair of Celestion Golds might sound like...but I have no experience with them or how they might compare with what is in the amp right now.
For me it is total trial and error. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I put an Eminence Tonkerlite in my III. This was Eminence's recommendation. I had also tried a Eminence Governor and like that as well. The Tonkerlite is certainly less weight than the Governor or the OEM Fender speaker. They both trump the Fender speaker by a mile.

I have the Mustang III and have been doing some initial testing with the amp. First impressions are really good, but today I finally have a chance to put some serious volume through it. One thing I did notice is that it's a little noisey overall when the volume gets louder and when recording USB or using the headphone out. I don't really like the recording functionality so far, but I need to do more testing (should definitely have a seperate volume / output adjustment for headphone + recording output imho).
Anyway, back to speakers. I am leaning towards something like the EV12L, Delta Pro 12A. Maybe the WGS Blackhawk Alnico (a great speaker that I had and sold, but I'm not too upset, it paid for half the MIII lol!).
If not something big clear and neutral like those mentioned I may get a higher powered Scumback speaker -- I just like those speakers and they really have worked well with Marshall, Fender and even Vox tube amps I have owned in the past. Not neutral at all, but just GOOD sounding with many different types of amps.
At least one or two people have installed the Tonkerlite as recommended by Eminence for modeling applications. I have not used that speaker, but the people who tried it said it was an upgrade to the stock speaker, plus it's a little lighter as well.
After today I should have a better idea as to which direction I want to go with my speaker choice.

Warehouse Guitar Speakers recommend their HM-75 which is a Celestion G12T-75 replacement/clone.

Also considering the G12-65s as well. I doubt I would ever play this loud enough to blow these up.

Along these lines, I'd love to go stereo with dual cabs for real separation but certainly don't need two 4 x 12's or even two x 2x12's.

Any ideas for a pair of small 1x12, or even 1x10?

I've been real happy with my Avatar speaker cabinet.

The Avatars rock but I was thinking even smaller, these won't be gigged. Are these little Vox cabs a dumb idea? http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/V110NT

The Mustang I & II uses Fender OEM speakers, the III uses a Celestion G12T-100 12″ Speaker.
