What if St. Louis needed money really bad and sold the Arch

and McDonald's bought it?



How many gallons of yellow paint do you reckon it would take to cover it once they opened their new drive through underneath it?



And would they go ahead and build another arch right next to it to complete the look?

A 6 pack of Krylon should catch it

There would be no second arch because ppl would try to drive under the arches and constantly hit the middle beams ... it would then be declared a disaster and have to be torn down.

I think they should build teh mcdonalds at the top, then you could take a balloon ride up!

Ironically, for years there was a McDonald's actually located near the foot of the Arch.
It was built on top of a barge to look like an old-time riverboat.
Our drummer's Dad was one of the owners of the franchise:

Didn't Burger King eventually move in there? It seems like I remember that. I've been on that barge before.

I can't remember, could be.
I moved away from the St. Louis area in 1982
when it was still a McD's and didn't get back much..

There's a big casino across the river from there now.
