Nuts: Tusq vs. graphite

Anyone tried both? What did you like about one vs. the other?

I have four gtrs w/graphite and now three of them have Tusq. Not any huge difference tonally especially w/fretted notes but the graphite nuts all wore out fast especially on my trem loaded gtrs. I absolutely get longer life with the Tusq nuts and minor string slot adjustments are easier too. I have one gtr left to switch over to Tusq. BTW, both nut materials helped to keep the gtr in tune so in that respect they are a dead tie. Tusq is now also available in black too but I like the white as it resembles bone.

Yeah, I had one graphite nut that I had to replace. I have three Tusq nuts that are all doing great.

That's what I was looking for. Thanks a lot guys. I was leaning towards tusq anyway.
