Backyardigans is doing acid rock!
This "Pirate Camp" must be an episode I missed before because I would remember this music. Big, slapping Moon-style drum fills, fuzzed-out minor key guitars and fat, cheesy combo organ. With different lyrics it would fit right in a Russ Meyer movie. This almost makes up for the music on some other shows my kids watch.

Yeah. In general, the Backyardigans fun and good stuff given it is a little kids show. The only show my daughter watches that I can tolerate.

I've been diggin' the music on the Bubble Guppies:
I did some research and found out that it's Adam Schlesinger from Fountains of Wayne. I love those guys!
