Les Paul sold :( Now to buy a guitar :) (PRS content)

With the Les Paul gone i'm thinking about something to replace it, Nothing more than $1000 otherwise it starts to match the price of Les Pauls and not really worth selling if it does that.

I'm thinking of something like the PRS SE singlecuts....
What else in that price range is worth looking at. Something with humbucker, solid body, Les Paul-ish type of playing. Maybe even another Les Paul that sells low at $1000 if one pops up.

Check out the new SE Singlecut. I don't think it's out yet but soon. Also I hear that there's some 60's Tributes still around. That's a fun one.

wow that was quick. went to guitar store down the road and they still had the beautiful PRS Mcarty soapbar that i've always loved. Marked down to $1200 from a ding. And all of a sudden there was another PRS (probably 2001) singlecut 10 naturally aged hardware for just over that price.
Downpayment.
Remember when I said no more than $1000? Things change.
But thats exactly the guitar I was looking for. Maple with flames, great sounding humbuckers, angled body and scale like a Les Paul but without the price of a Les Paul.
I still net a few hundred dollars.
Basically looks like this.
