That is a beautiful guitar! Something to be proud of! Keep us posted on how the TV Jones pickups sound...

Cool looking guitar. Good job!

Out of interest, what is the pickup balance like between the neck & the bridge & also what does the middle (both on) position sound like?

Tone report

Hey Guys,
I'm still working on the bridge pick up height as it's as far up as the screws will allow and about an 1/8 to low so more on that later also can't give a report on the two pick ups together. Before I forget the neck reads about 4K DC resistance.

OK I hope I don't sound like an idiot. Played clean though a Deluxe Reverb RI it sounds big and fat with little something on the high that is really cool. Not scooped really in my opinion. Using a solo tone with a lot of distortion and delay though a Gdec playing to a Help the Poor baking track the neck pick up sounds amazing to me. On the higher strings where most neck pick ups would shine this pick up shines as well but what was really cool is playing on the lower strings and lower on the neck this pick sounds fantastic. It has this high end thing that doesn't get muddy and retains clarity. Pinch harmonics are there and easy to get and it really screams. That's it sor far, I'll report back when I get the bridge pick where I want it. I hope this helps and these pick ups have their own thing going on that was foreign to me at first but they're really growing on me.
Regards.

I have never seen a Tele Partscaster garner this much attention by its self on TGF......

What is WAY cool is that by looks alone this TELE deserves the attention!!!

I want it!!!

Love the finish on yours!

Teles with 'Trons are cool - this one in the Stike-approved "Non Relic" finish:

Stupidly lightweight Musikraft Tele body, the largest, fattest Indian Rosewood neck I've ever played, and checkerboard top/back binding and Midnight Green Holoflake courtesy of the world-famous Mr. Dikkers.

I just did the bolting, wiring and some random screw attaching...
