POD HD 500 Tips & Tricks

My tip is to make sure you try the different settings in the Setup: Output Options.

They make a HUGE difference in tone.

To add the feel of tube compression try putting a Tube Comp after the amp block. I usually set the threshold around 40-50 and the output to 1. Feel free to set it however you like.

I like to assign two amps to one of the footswitches and set one on and the other off. That way you can click the footswitch and change from one amp to the next.

Great vid, all of those tips were useful to me as I had been avoiding the volume and wah stuff because I couldnt get it right

Not exclusively an HD500 tip but if you want a better sounding leslie than the two lackluster rotary FX, setup the analog chorus thusly

Rate @ 6-6.5 hz
Depth @ 10-12
Mix @ 95-100%

Glenn,

I like your tip on the wah pedal. Cutting the mix back to 65% mkes a nice difference. Really smooths the wah out. Thanks!
