Anyone have "Hammer Toe"?

If so, please tell me about it...

It hurts. Over the last 6 months, new shoes seem to be fixing it. What else do you want to know?

What exactly is "hammer toe"?

My Father-in-law has webbed toes and it's a little weird to look at? I try not to stare when he's walking around in bare feet, but it's just too weird not to...

One of my co-workers had it, it eventually required a painful operation.

Mine isn't that bad. I attribute it to wearing crappy Big 5 close out shoes for almost 15 years. So did the podiatrist. Still, it hurts sometimes...

I've had one for 50 years. It doesn't bother me.

Women who wear "excessively" high-heeled shoes on a regular basis are prone to get hammer toe. Many women celebrities get it badly. Katie Holmes for instance, she's got it real bad.
