11R EXP demo - Orion

Hey guys,

Finally got some down time at work, so I decided to slap together a quick track tonight. Hopefully I will get my lazy arse in gear and record the REST of the song one day

Guitars - Soloway 7 string

Rhythm (Para EQ: HPF aorund 80Hz and a deep notch at 1kHz)
DC Modern SOD + V30/R121 off axis
DC Moder 800 + G25/Dyn421 off axis with white boost

Lead - Bogner Red Channel, solo boost engaged, 2z12 B30 cab, Dyn421 odd axis

Bass - POS Yamaha P-style passive bass (cheapest piece of firewood in the store)
Blue Line Bass cab

Mind the clams, I've been trying to get in some fingerstyle the last couple of weeks and have really neglected my pick. It's come back to haunt me

Wow! Sounds really good!

Tell me more about your PEQ HPF settings. I want to carve it out about 60Hz. How would I set the controls to do that?

Hey Lution,

Thanks! From the ERXP Manual:

• Low-Pass (High band) or High-Pass (Low band): Cuts frequencies above (Low-Pass) or below (High-Pass) the selected frequency,
with a choice between 6 dB, 12 dB, or 24 dB-per-octave curves.

Set the type to HP 6,12 or 24 and set the L Freq to around 60. You can sweep around there til you find the sweet spot. My understanding is that gain and Q don't do anything in this mode.

Thanks guys!

Always happy to do more Metallica tracks I'm not a big GnR fan though, so I won't be able to help you out on that front...

Happy to take requests though, so if you'd like to hear any particular Metallica tune, I'm always looking for an excuse to go learn something

Except Dyer's Eve.
