I wish that people would become more aware of riders. More bikes could help solve a few issues for folks. Be defensive..be safe.....watch school zones because the chick driving 40mph in a 15mph zone who happens to be dropping off her kids will run over yer ass.

Been there...done that.

I agree . .I've ridden/raced since my teens . . . it's the college school girls and mini-van mom's I fear most.

Congrats.

Don't get 70mpg on mine, but still get about double that I get in the pickup.

Been on 'em since I was 6...6'4"/290, still try my best to ride like I was invisible.

I had a WR400....nasty bike! I loved it. This must be pe3rfect, the 400 had a little too much power for a causal trail bike, wanted to wheelie hard every time you cracked the throttle.

The bike that gave me the best mileage was, of all things, a Norton Commando with a single-Mikuni conversion. Just loafing on a cruise, I could get up to 65 mpg.

Yeah . . guys say 50-55mpg . . .the way I ride I'll be happy with mid-40's.
