Gary Moore, my guitar hero

I was looking through some old stuff and stumbeled across this gem.

I can remember everything like it was yesterday. Me and my friends running all over Germany, taking the S-bahn (train) far away just to see my favorite player. I was about 19 at the time, never even played guitar. We saw him with another Irish group called Mama's Boys.

It was a small venue, and Gary just rocked, totally blew me away.

I just remember listening to Corridors of Power over and over, and later all his other european releases. I still listen to his stuff all the time, still brings back great memories. Funny I didn't pick up the guitar until much later in life. He still is, and always will be my guitar hero.

R.I.P. Gary

The first and only time I saw him live was during the Thin Lizzy Black Rose tour.
I believe it was 1979. He was ferocious and full of fire.
