Eleven Rack has made me a better musician

Well it's true. As far as I can see, for two main reasons: 1) It allows me to explore tone nuances and subtleties that previous modelers couldn't reproduce 2) It's so terribly addictive that I've been neglecting friends and even women so I can spend more time playing with it

I know I'm not the only one who feels this way about the 11R, but I'm curious about the other modelers. Do you actually miss playing guitar when you're away for a couple of hours because it makes you want to play that much?

To me it's clearly noticeable that my playing has improved lately, to the point I've been picking up my tele instead of the superstrats and my sound is still happening

My wife is a professional violinist. I bought her an electric violin for the holidays and lately she has been using my Eleven Rack to play through. When I am using it and she wants it, she tries to bate me with sex to get the gear. Seriously. I don't know if I am better, but the more she envies my stuff, the less I have to justify it. haha

And yeah, I really do love my Eleven. I've owned an AFX Ultra too and its awesome, but I just want something that sounds awesome no matter what. The Eleven Rack is right for me.

RP155/355 user here. I can usually go a couple of hours without playing without any ill effects.

A POD owner here. I can go a couple days without playing... my guitar... but if I'm working on something for 4 hrs on the piano or synths, the last thing I want to do is pick up the guitar afterward. Likewise I can go a couple days without playing the piano or synths if I'm working on something on the guitar. I'm at the point on the piano where I don't need to practice very often, just keep up a maintenance schedule.

So you haven't got the shakes yet... maybe I can interest you on something a little stronger?

Well all jokes aside I think it's great to have something that inspires me and drives me to play guitar, even if it's a piece of gear. I'm not really the woodshed type, but I've been enjoying myself playing with the 11R so often lately my chops have improved noticeably, which is kinda weird but a very welcome side effect

The 11-Rack made the gas mileage in my Jeep better, but it also pointed out my bad vibrato & stuff.........Lol

Jokes aside (yea right).....All I do is make music (songs) now......& I even Bought a Bass that I'm playing for the 1st time too.......My shred licks have become much more melodic as well due to the song content that they now sit in..........

So.....Yes.....I think?

Peace! X-Mann

PS - It's has also upped my friend count on Facebook & on the DUC......Lol

PSS - I wish my wife played the violin now......So yea....Thx for that....Lol

@robertkoa: the hardest part is putting the guitar down long enough to set things up for recording
