Eventide Timefactor and U2/Edge settings

I just got a new Eventide Timefactor. I am trying to come as close as possible to the sound of U2 / The Edge delay sound. I haven't been able to get close and I was hoping someone with a Timefactor had found some good settings they could share so I can get the sound of The Edge. I am not sure if there are presets to get the sound but if anyone know which presets to use that would be great, too. Thanks for any help

Check out the TF section on the Eventide website. I'm pretty sure they have a preset list. The preset is called Nameless Avenues or something. The preset parameters are also available. Its a good place to start.

Not 100% accurate, but close enough for most people. ModDelay on the TF, get the tempos from the site and it should be fairly easy to get the sounds.

It also helps to get a smidge of overdrive going, and a compressor at the top of the chain as well.

Actually I have to say that site (no mater how well intended it was to compile) isn't that accurate. For example, it has too much emphasis on 2 delays when it is not necessary or true etc.

As for U2 delays with the Timefactor, use the Digital Delay and set the rate and depth of the modulation to taste. Go for dotted 8th delay notes or dial in ms times to suit. If, for example, you want that "Streets" delay dial in 354ms or so...with the amount of repeats to your liking.

Regards
Gerry
