Lace Sensors are neither single coil or humbucker - they don't have coils. The pickup design is a magnet inside a ferromagnetic housing.

Ah, thanks! Most of the noiseless pups are humbuckers but not the Lace Sensors.

You might be thinking of the Alumitones, which has essentially a single loop (the coil) and a transformer - Lace Sensors are true singles with an altered magnetic field. The Holy Grail pickups are side by side coils and are noise cancelling.
