Hi Marin!
Great backing and excellent playing! As soon as I get my amp back from the shop with more of Scott's mods, I'll try and tackle this one.

LOVED it!!!!!! Really soulful playing on that one!!!! Well, except that insanity at 1:37, but that was REALLY cool in its own shreddy way

Scott... I absolutely LOVED your playing on this take! Reminded me in a great way of some of the Jummy Herring stuff i'm trying to get to these days!

Now... the tone. There is something about this clip, and other recent clips of yours that has been bugging me: the tone is a really great tone but its like its missing air - the very top end, the stuff that is actually above most guitar frequencies. Its a kind of claustrophobic dryness that, imho, is preventing the tone from breathing. Im not sure if its the amp or the pickups (to my ear, most humbuckers are guilty of this to some extent) or both, or it could just be my ears Who cares anyway, the playing is what i REALLY listen to!

Thanks Ant! I think my mixing has been off..... I'll do a better job next time. Maybe a tad of stereo delay or verb. I know what you mean about the "air" of the tone. It is a bit dry in the mix.

Your take was killin' droogy. Nice feel and tone!

Scott
