Coming full circle in tone, The Boogie SOB.
Just scored a dead mint Mesa Boogie SOB (son of the original boogie)combo with an EVM12l. Waiting on the amp to arrive. My first boutique amp was a Boogie SOB half stack. Loved that amp. Also really dug the Stones guitar tone on Some Girls which I believe was a Mark I Boogie. I know these weigh a ton but I am so looking forward to coming full circle and rocking the tone I loved as a kid.

Would love any input on Mark I's and the SOB, how close are they in design? Any tips. I believe my amp still has the original tubes in it. Also my SOB was special ordered with reverb, how is the Boogie reverb from this period?

Check the Boogie Board forum. Lots of info and people who know.
Congrats on your amp. I literally stumbled over a C+ a few years back and have stopped looking in the Amp Emporium ever since!

Any Boogie "Mark" and EVM12L is a glorious combination. Heck, I've got a Boog Thiele Cab w/EVM just because is sounds amazing with anything I've hooked it to, not to mention my Boogies
