Mad professor deep blue delay maybe
never tested in a live
and it is by far the best digital delay that doesn't suck tone so much like
many other famous delays
also check the DLS echo tap

Well I have just had the Carbon Copy and the Malekko 616. With the buffer on the Malekko cuts fine with it off, the signal is a bit dark and will stuggle more. The Carbon Copy is more like a good bass player, the repeats are more felt than heard. I mean this in a good way in the sense that it does not sound like "hey everyone, look at me I just turned my delay on, isn't that cool?"

My latest purchase (received less than 24 hours agao) is the Analogman ARDX20. It is way to new to give you an unbiased opinion yet but the first thing I noticed that I really liked was how the repeats were present in the mix (backing tracks) but never got in my way. Sometimes when you can hear the repeats well with the band, but you feel as if you are fighting against them. I don't know but that was my observation after spending a couple hours with the thing.

The Carbon Copy never needed to be set to the time of the tune, at least I never noticed. It just filled space. It just did not seem to matter. However, with the AM ARDX20, I found myself setting the delay to jive with the tempo of the tune but then it creates a very happening "pocket" that is really sweet!

The sound of the Aman is much more neutral in tone concerning the original signal. The CC and the Malekko tend to take command of your tone making it more dark overall or more bright. The AM keeps the original signal more true to the base tone but the repeats quickly change tonallity. This is what makes it "stay out of the way" in my opinion.

Really enjoying the Aman so far and at least at the moment can't imagine that it would not be heard in the mix.

The Skreddy blends in really well. One of the best units available imo, but probably not the best fit for what you are looking for. It definitely cuts highs and lows.

I'm thoroughly enjoying the analogman ardx20 and maxon ad900 for similar applications at the moment... the maxon has cleaner repeats but both are excellent and working a lot better than the superdelay, el cap, and skreddy echo did for me... the skreddy was my favorite of those though... beautiful repeats on that one
