The comp is Brian's original design, warm and natural compression. And the overdrive is nice and smooth. Enjoy it. Brian's a great guy to deal with, along with his wife Missi.

Definately will be coming onto my board. Agreed Brian and Missi are awesome with their customer service and customizing orders if so required.
I'm sure you've checked out the website, there is extensive info in regards to the options on the Model 9, from the Selection of onboard Tone Plugs to the option of havinga Tone Port instead of the Three way selector for the Drive Channel.

Three essential footswitches on one pedal, each with their parameters easily accessed.
I don't think, and wouldn't believe there is anything that comes close.
From the Design, Materials, Custom Options and Construction, Brian and Missi have got one amazing Pedal, and indeed one awesome Company!
There is nothing comparable...!
Really looking forward to mine.

I have what's known as a model 7, the first JoMama. With three independent channels it's a boost/comp/OD (a second boost with a toggle for two flavors of dirt or clean). Each channel stacks with the others so nicely (does fuzz easily) and his compressor is the best I've ever heard, quietest too. Another factor is Brian's extremely meticulous build design and quality. He also uses a lot of NOS and military, germanium transistors for he most organic, warm tones around. These pedals add so much your rig alone or in tandem with other pedals. Brian helped me create a new base tone that needs little more. My amp loves it. And the customer service is first rate.

I had a communication w/ him yesterday, very busy guy in all facets of life. The guy just goes. I also emailed him today ordering another comp (Sunshine) and will probably be ordering the B1 sometime soon.

Order in on a Model 9, over here...

Brian is a super nice guy and Missi is great too. I really look forward to this pedal. Very reasonably priced for the build quality and functionality, it would seem...

Best,

Mike
