Lesnar out, Carwin in...

Brock Lesnar dropped out of UFC 131 with Junior Dos Santos, and is being replaced by Shane Carwin. It should be interesting. It seems Lesnar has had a relapse of diverticulitis, or so the articles say.

Should still be a good fight. Junior is 10 years or so younger though I think. That's a lot in the cage. Like Charles Barkley says " Old man time is undefeated".

I think Carwin will be a better fight for Junior. It's going to be great, and if the winner gets Cain (supposed to) that will be a great fight as well.

Lesnar's done, imo They just propped him up for TUF to get the ratings and it backfired.

I have a hard time believing that this is the end of Lesnar. This is one of those injury cases where I actually 100% believe that he's telling the truth and wants to get healthy. TUF ratings aren't up because it did backfire, but only because they didn't expect Brock and Junior to be such respectful gentlemen around each other. I, on the other hand, think it's awesome to see two grown men respect each other. I do feel the Carwin matchup is a little more interesting...for one round. Carwin needs to prove he can stand and throw or go to the ground and survive for 3 rounds at least. We know Junior can easily, but unless Carwin finds a connecting shot early on it's lights out for Shane in the second. I hope the best for Brock and a speedy return. He's a big draw and always exciting to watch.

I would have expected it from Junior, but not Brock, I have a lot more respect for him because of it. And I was blown away by his post fight talk with one of his guys who was ashamed for loosing, Brock told him he was a warrior and had nothing to be ashamed of, and should hold his head high. I thought that was huge, and a valuable lesson for anyone who competes. I tend to beleive Lesnar's not playin' around either, and I hope we haven't seen the last of him.

Lesnar is the real deal. He has proven that. One can only assume that he is out because of an illness, because he loves to compete. He needs some time to get his striking game together, but he is incredibly athletic, so he will step up when the time comes.
