Wouldn't be at all surprised if the pilot is a fairly serious cyclist, or maybe a triathlete.

Seems like a cool concept, but, why?
Is a human powered flying device of this type really efficient? I understand it if we were looking to emulate the efficiency of a birdflight, but, the energy input to output for this type of flight would look to be all off. |
