fantastic...thanks all!

Nichole is back at school, so I'll be the official tour box guide for this product from here on out. My email is at the Caroline page, don't hesitate to let me know if there are any problems.

I love the title "unofficial industry observer"...too good. It's like those "Area Man" articles in the Onion.

thank you, thank you!

i can honestly report that the Wave Cannon did not sound or look like ANY other pedal I have ever seen

i am very glad that Roquero happened to have it during the week we did our "pedal party" -- and i had a LOT of fun tweaking the knobs at the end of the demo with the crazy switch on

I recieved it monday, after being out of town for the weekend, and it's been making amazing sounds in my house all week. I will get a full detailed review in a couple of days!

HI all.... Just finished my week with it. It's off to AHCLEINAD (Daniel in Lynnwood, WA) next. Getting it into the mail this morning.

My thoughts....

Excellent quality pedal. Has TONS of different sounds. Some don't fit my style at all, although they were alot of fun to play with.

I could get some excellent vintage tones out of it, as well as a lot of over-the-top distortion sounds. The interactive nature of the controls make the options almost limitless. I tried it through both blackface and tweed amps, with Strats, a PRS (57/08s), and a 335-style guitar. Sound great on all, but best on the lower-output pickups. Didn't notice a preference for SC vs Hums, but the pedal does best at adding to the versatility with lower output stuff. It could make a SC sound like the most aggressive HB imagineable.

One note, I did personally prefer it with my brighter pickups, as it has a TON of low-end that worked very well to tame the brightness of the higher-end pickups/guitars. On my "darker" sounding pups, the added low end on the pedal kinda overhelmed the overall tone. If you like alot of low end (not my pref), this pedal will give you all you need and more.

I also was struck by the clarity of the overall envelope of sound, regardless of the level of overdrive dialed in. I could hear lots of nice phatness and fuzz, but I could make out each string in a chord. It was strange, but noticeable. A good thing in my opinion. I didnt' get a chance to try it out in a live-band situation this week, but I surmise this quality will make it really cut through a heavy mix.

Overall... a very good sounding pedal and excellent build quality. An extremely wide range of tones and overdrive and some of the most bizarre sounds I've ever heard with the "Crazy" switch engaged. Fun, but also very musical. Great Job Caroline!

Geno, thanks a ton! Glad you dug it. I chose to voice the thing a little darker, like a heavier red wine. I had too many nights where I remember running a Strat into a Fender combo and I felt like no matter what dirt box I used, I wished I could reach back for more "ass" or "thump" to the sound . Plus, we really wanted to show how hefty these kinds of IC fuzzstortions could be. The mythology right now seems to equate these op-amp kinds of circuits with a shriller, brighter sound than the "amp-in-a-box" designs that are very much the rage these days, and I just don't think that is true.

I'd been contemplating developing another gain pedal design with a bass-cut for sometime next year, but I'm up to my neck in figuring out how we're going to start making our fuzzes...

Hey guys! sorry this took so long, i've had a busy schedule the lat couple of weeks.

I was super excited to try out the wave cannon! I've been eyeing it since it was released. I can assure you that this pedal is no disappointment!

First of the thing looks sick! I love the way the knobs are labeled and everything! The wave cannon worked great from low to higher gain imo. taking the gain knob down i got a really nice edge of breakup tone with my tele and Goodsell! I was also able to dial in some sweet raunchy low gain tones, i don't know if that makes since but i loved it. The shape control and treble control(stack i think?) are both brilliant. Being a tele player it's nice to be able to adust the treble to my tastes.

Classic rock tones is a no brainer for this thing as well! Some of the best i've heard for sure! It has a hefty amount of low end for sure, which made for some nice and thick distortion tones!

The havoc switch is awesome and really fun too! It put out some crazy feedback that i was able to control with my volume and tone knobs.

It also stacked wonderfully with my JHS Morning Glory.

Basically this thing can go from nice thick low gain boost to classic rock, to thick distortion, to all out crazy fuzz! One of the most versatile pedals i've played in my time as a guitar player. This thing will surely make it's way on my board as soon as I'm able to put it there! It also makes me excited to try out the pedals that Caroline Guitar Company are coming out with in the future!

All in all, awesome company, awesome pedal, worth checking out for sure!

Thanks for letting me be apart of this guys!
