I had the pleasure of Robin's vocalist (Davey Pattison), sit in with my band a few weeks ago in Marin, CA. Trower is killer!

A big influence on me and a player I can listen to a lot without getting tired of. I still can't figure out why he plays 'Too Rolling Stoned' live with a key change into the solo when the studio version doesn't (and sounds all the better for it imho).

LONGTIME Trower fan here! I was lucky enough to interview him on my radio show last week. I have it up on my site if you'd like to hear it. I dedicated the entire hour to his music.

Robin Trower is coming to my 'hood on June 25th. I'll be there. I saw him in 1970-sumpthin. I've always enjoyed his style and music.

Saw him in Atlanta a few months ago, he was just as good if not better then when I saw him in the 70's and 80's. He smoked.

I know. It seems he does it on every version of the song live. I don't like that at all.

"Think I'll just sit this one out..."
One of the best change-ups in the middle of a song ever. I've always dug this tune, and Trower in general, especially that era. After watching this video I think Robin has been taking making "guitar face" lessons from David Gilmour.

Robin looks exactly like my paternal grandfather these days. My granddad was also a very cool dude.
