Lets see 'em! I played a black one the other night at GC and can't stop thinking about it....ha a humbucker, I'm thinking I'd put a P90 in it....

Anyway, show me your Melody Makers!

The only photo I've got of this one is a comparison of yellowed Pelham Blue finishes. It's a late 60s Melody Maker II. I made a new cream pearloid pickguard for this one 'cause I think all those late 60s MMs look better with pearl guards! I used to own a single pickup MM from the same time period in red. It was very, very clean. Sold it, but kept the player!

The top guitar is a 60s Supro Sahara- note how the neck with Lacquer finish has yellowed whereas the Res-o-glas body has not. The middle is an early 80s SG that was originally sprayed a color that was an approximation of an already yellowed Pelham Blue. 30 years later and it is really green!
