A few months ago I bought a head, just the head, that went to a Yamaha hundred 412 amp.
That model was a huge amp, very load. Typical yamaha amp of the late 70s, terrible distortion channel.
It has tremelo and reverb.

The head was in a home made cabinet made of solid planks of what looks like oak shelving. It weighs a ton.
If I remember right I paid 30 bucks for it.
It works great. Now I just need to figure out what I am going to do with it.
I have 8 Univox Pro Mag speakers out of a Univox PA column I might use to build an amp around it.

I found a Fender MA-10 mini amp for 29 cents at GW. It had a loose speaker which I glued back in. Plays great but later I found a Marshall 15 watt amp on a curb and since it was dead I put the mini amp in the box. Boy that sounded good with that speaker.

I also found some albums in GW that was a good find. I bought a bunch but these are my favs:

Best of BTO
Genesis Abacab
Deep Purple When We Rock We Rock But When We Roll We Roll
Deep Purple Machine Head
Planet P Planet P
Blue Oyster Cult The Revolution By Night
Blue Oyster Cult Agent Of Fortune
Emerson Lake & Palmer Trilogy
Iron Butterfly Ina Godda Da Vida
The Police Zenyatta Mondatta
The Police Outlandos D'Amour
Judas Priest British Steel
Ted Nugent Weekend Warriors
Grand Funk Red Album
Grand Funk Mark, Don & Mel 1969-71
Guitar Boogie Eric Clapton Jeff Beck Jimmy Page

I don't know why I got them I don't have a turntable.

My wife does pretty much ALL her clothes and shoe shopping at goodwill stores. Rarely pays over $5 for any item, and some of them are EXCELLENT, brand name stuff too.

I finally reneged and bought a pair of jeans when she invited me to go along with her last month. $8 I think, for a pair of 'reliced' Levis.

I saw a mint condition 'Carcassone' board game there too for $2, but didn't pick it up. Kicking myself now...

A Silvertone Stratotone years ago for $50 that I should never have sold. Also, the greatest early 60's vintage gray plaid winter pea coat ever created.
