Guitar suggestions with a $1500 budget

So my wife wants to get me a guitar for our 10 year anniversary but I can't decide what to get. I mostly play blues, gov't mule, black keys type music. I have a les paul, strats, tele, rickenbacker among other import guitars. I typically buy used to get more guitar for the money.

Things I've been considering: SG, PRS (I've always wanted one with birds, leaning towards a Starla with bigsby), G&L ASAT Special, Godin Icon 3 (I've been on a p90 kick lately), something with TV Jones pickups.

What do you guys think? Anything else I should consider? Too many choices. Will the GAS ever end???

Seriously consider some of the EBMM product. I always like the versatility of the Silo w/Piezo.
Good stuff and within your budget.

If you could find a used Collings 290 in the $1600 range you'd have a lifetime keeper. Wish I'd kept mine!

For about $100 more, you could get a used PRS DGT with Moons....A KILLER guitar.

Thanks for the suggestions, keep them coming. To answer some questions, I don't play much acoustic but I do have a Martin J15 and a Seagull Coastline Folk guitar. I've been leaning towards a PRS the most. I have seen a used PRS Custom 22 with birds in my budget but I don't know if I'll like the Dragon pups with the style of music I play. I know I can always change them down the road as well. For some reason, when I was younger and saw a PRS with a 10 top and the bird inlays for the first time, it became a guitar I wanted to have one day. However, I have a Schecter C-1 classic that I hardly ever play and it is very similar to a PRS.

I picked up an SG at Guitar Center the other day and it was $899 on sale. The neck was fat and it played just as good as my Les Paul Traditional (which has a fret dress). I was amazed at how smooth the frets were. The tone was plenty warm too, not as complex as the LP but throaty still and fat sounding. I liked it.

You could definintely get a used '61 RI SG for under $1500. I got mine for just a bit over $1100 in December, and it was NM with one small nick on the back of the body.

Get a Guild Starfire III, IV or V. DAMN good guitars that are well within your limit.

As for TV Jones, my Setzer SSLVO is probably my favorite guitar. A bit higher than your limit used, but there are similar models you could get for less. VERY fun guitars.

Just came across this in my search. This could be the one, 3 p90's, bigsby, semi-hollow. I've heard good things about Hamers but have never been able to find a USA one to play.
