Any love for T-rex drive pedals?

Dont see them on pedalboards much (if at all) here....

I have a DGTM on my board, I really like it a lot, it's my go-to low gainer.

I'd love to try a Mudhoney MK 2, but if I'm gonna spend close to $300 on a pedal, I'd probably get something hand-made/hand-painted.

I've been using a T-rex tonebug overdrive lately, I like it.

Friend of mine used the Alberta, was pretty good, but yea, as stated above, for that price, you can get a more boutique pedal.

Thanks guys, ok so its the price thats keeping them down.... I just wondered if the sound quality defended the prices, I mean, Mad Prof, Providence and many more arent cheap. The quality of the T-rex's always seemed good to me..

There is also the question if real estate.... Most people don't have much room on the boards as it is.

A bit too big and pricey for what you are getting IMHO. That said, I really liked the Möller and i LOVE the Gristle King.

I have and love an early Alberta.

True is that they take too much real state considering more than half the box is empty. wonder why they don't build them is a smaller package?

I have a Mudhoney on my board, and I don't consider it a large pedal. It's larger than the OCD, but smaller than the Fulldrive. Having the connections on the top edge makes the footprint pretty much the same as most other pedals after everything is cabled up.

Been quite interested in the Alberta and Dr Swamp, seem really good tone-wise. The Alberta is a fairly open sounding TS variant to my ears.

I love the Alberta, Moehller and Mudhoney 2 that I have. I sold my Replica not because it wasn't a good pedal, but because it was just expensive for what it did and I was moving into more of a tape delay sound. The Bloody Mary though to me was a big miss from them. I think they are great pedals and hold up very well quality and tone wise.

T Rex convinced me to switch to digital delays, something I never would've thought possible. -E
