Talking Got my Divided By 13 FTR 37...

Wow, this thing rocks. The more I play it the more I love it. Every friggin note comes through on everything. My Tim sounds PERFECT with it. You see a lot of Fender on steroid comments on here, and actually that's right on the money. I think the sweet spot for both channels is at noon (especially on the clean channel cause that's when the break up starts). Just killer! The 2x12 sounds bigger and more 3D than my old Orange PPC412. They're pricey, but if you're looking for the Fender tone with some guts stop buying other stuff and just get the FTR37.

Divided users, couple questions:

The reverb input on the back, what footswitch do you use to activate it?
The fan has an on off switch. Do you keep the fan on all the time or just after playing for a while?

NICE!
I have the SJT10/20. Love it.
Not 100% sure on the reverb, but I keep my fan on all the time.
Figure it will do more good than harm.

Congratulations, the FTR is my favourite amp, just wait 'til you record stuff with it, it's just perfect!

I don't know which pedal to use on the reverb, you could just call or email Fred and ask him.
I keep the fan on all the time. Sometimes i have the amped powered up for a long time and i think the valves like the wind

I've got the LDW coming in aswell very soon. it's going to be my dream rig having the FTR for cleans and mild overdrive and the LDW for rock!

I don't use reverb so don't know, fan is always on.

I use mine on the clean channel with the mid boost pulled, volume about noon on most gigs, through a 1x12 cab with a Vintage 30 (about to try a Crex). Pedals in front. Best rig ever so far.

i have used the tim with my 37 as well.......feel the same. great sound. not using the 37 as much though because of a bludo.....hate to say it but may put the 37 in the amp emporium soon. i have left the fan on live, but in studio you may want it off. as for the reverb jack......never have used it. once again.....and people hate this phrase here.....just call fred.....what doesn't he know about amps & cabs

The FTR37s one of the best amps ever built imho. Very ear friendly, very soundman friendly, records like no other and is so rich in tone. Loves pedals. People wine about the click channel noise, never bothered me in the least. You sure can't hear it when your at volume in a band situation. It's the only amp that I've ever had that give me goose bumps. The song was Voodoo Chile on the click channel at 2 o'clock with a strat and a wah. Best tone I've ever produced. Well that an an SLO on 1-2 oclock on a ABB song. The FTR is an amazing amp.

Congrats! LDW 17/39 head/2x12F cab owner here. AMAZING stuff. I'm sure the FTR is just as amazing (haven't gotten to try one personally).

How much clean channel headroom does the FTR37 have?

I wish Fred would make a clean amp with 6l6's for us that use pedals.

Does the FTR 37 have more clean headroom than the EDT 13/29?
