Stomp Under Foot '73 Ram's Head - Standard Model?

Was there a standard model made that is the same as the '73 or was this information incorrect?

Thanks!

Mark

I discontinued the 73 because it is close to the version of the VRH I currently offer and the VRH is a lot more usable than the 73.

Mat, in your line, which muff is the most complementary with the VRH? Put another way, I have a VRH...so which one do you think gives me the best range of tones when coupled with the VRH?

Green Russian? Civil War?

Wait, I'm not Mat...

So far I have a SUF Tri Muff, Ram's Head, Violet Ram's Head, and Civil War. I'd like to collect them all since I love the sound of Muffs and Matt does a great job building them.

I'd think you can't go wrong with any SUF pedals, though probably either a Tri Muff or Civil War would be good to try next; both are highly rated by most people. I'm curious to try the Pumpkin Pi, but reviews seem mixed (mainly just because an op-amp fuzz isn't everyone cup of tea, not because Matt's clone isn't well done).

I would agree. The CW would be a good one but it looks like you have one already.

Thanks for the feedback, Matt. I almost won an eBay auction on a '73; I bid $160 but sold for $158.50 (apparently the $1.50 difference wasn't enough of an increase). Another recent one sold for $299!!! I guess I'll be content with my VHR based on your feedback.

Thanks for building such great pedals!

Mark
