That is a kewl soundhole. And looks like a nice guitar.

I am a newbie here and wonder if that is a valid price for that guitar? Just curious.

Thanks guys.

I got this stupid Blue Book of Electric Guitars 8th Edition which I "assumed" when I ordered from Amazon would be RECENT. It appears to have been written in 2003.

In it Bakers such as the B1H are shown to have been around $4300 new and a Mint would be worth $3100. I guess the book is a bit out of date and the unique soundhole adds to the value.

But it is all academic as I am currently waiting for a Thorn. Just learning a bit for (ahem) future reference.

Actually it has SOME use. It does describe the history of each manufacturer so I can learn a bit about how Fender or Gibson came about. Or who Baker is for instance.

But apparently as a source for determining value of guitars it falls short. Strange, I always thought a Blue book was for that reason. Silly me.
