May i come in? Two Tylers right now, you can bet i`ll have more in the future.
Here in Spain there is some kind of Tyler-Fever, so i`ve played around 12 of them: Huff, Landau, classic, SE, SE HD, alder body, Mamywo body, with Suhrs, with VVs...Haven`t tried the LA Studio, a Hollow, and the Tele, but gimme some time I have to admit yet to find one i didn`t like VERY much. Necks are awesome, bodies are super-resonant, and they play great, specially considering their fat necks. I like Suhrs too, but not as much, they`re my favorite strat-like guitars at the moment. Finish is satin also, but very light, feels like the wood itself BTW. One more thing, i suggest to all of you to install a switch for bypassing the booster. More sounds avaliable, and sound better for certain settings. PD: I love the headstock

I love the headstock too.... especially painted black!
One topic that i haven't seen mentioned is the smell. My classic smells like wood! I've never owned another guitar that had a such a distinct smell.... |

I got my Tyler, Custom order SE, back in November 2004. And I love it, neck profile, feel, resonance, tone, looks all add up to a great playing experience. Mine's is red schmear, highly figured birseye maple neck & board, solo switch, series/parallel switching, boost switch, trem, SD Classic Stacks & Michael Landau HB.
