HD500: Two amp settings... one amp model!

I've been spending some time on dual-gain-setting patches for a few of the amps in the HD500. It's totally out of control cool. Being able to change EVERY parameter on the amp (and even some on the FX, too) is time-consuming but really rewarding. Anybody else?

One thought... I'm running the EXP 1 pedal BACKWARDS? Why? because this way if I have an effect on the toe-switch, it happens on the clean amp. Also, you have kind of an extra "button". leave EXP at 100% for clean, and when you want to go dirty, just tap the pedal all the way down to 0 as if it were another footswitch.

No clips, but I have the patches uploaded.

Here's my single voice out of control Gibson - /13 patch. Usually, to be honest, I find managing two amps at once more trouble than it's worth, at least in a modeler, but this was fun. http://line6.com/customtone/tone/214081/

These other two patches have a "blank" signal path for an acoustic voice (for my two-voice guitars), so just ignore the AUX 2 part of this (get rid of it if you want).

Here's a very cool (imho) Twin patch that goes from clean to dirty on the same amp model really nicely. http://line6.com/customtone/tone/214080/

And here's a similar patch with the Bassman. http://line6.com/customtone/tone/214079/

I love having two amp settings on one patch. I also have discovered that only a few of the amps work well for me at both clean and dirty settings. The Twin, Lux, Bassman, AC30, Twin and HiWatt, specifically. But what the heck. I only ever used two or three models in my older modelers, so that's progress...

Anybody else?

If you mean that you use the footpedal to go from clean to dirty on one amp, I do the same. And then toe-switch activates another boost at the top of the range.

Cool idea... (except I go backwards...)
