Strymon Idea

I sent this suggestion to Strymon, would be most useful to folks who have a few of Strymon pedals and use a few at a time. I suggested that they come out with a Strymon power supply, maybe 4 isolated outlets for cables with the requirements to power their pedals. This can be plugged into wall oulet or plugged into back courtsy outlet of power supply your already using. I think this could pretty small. If price can be competative. I think that new dunlop PS would do it, but if you already have a PS for the rest of your pedals you may not need to get that. Just a thought. Anyothers think it might be useful?

The problem is that much mA is probably going to require a brick of similar size to a PP2+ anyway, which just makes it into another power supply.

I currently run a PP2+ and an DC10 underneath my board. The DC10 covers up to 3 Strymon/Eventide type boxes.

Voodoo labs is expected to announce the release date for their new Pedal Power Digital at Summer NAAM. The digital has 4 isolated outputs of 400mA, meaning it can power 4 Strymon/Eventide pedals at once. I can't believe it's actually going to come in at 129, but if it does, that's a great deal, and looks like exactly what you're hoping for:

Maybe that and an Iso5 is what you need.

Cheers!

Kinda like how Eventide has the powerfactor?

Who would make Strymon's though?

The Voodoo Labs that isn't even available?

The CIOKS will supply up to 3 Eventides or Strymon pedals along with other standard 9V stuff. Cost is the only deterant I've noticed.

If I am not mistaken, this: http://www.glab.com.pl/pb-1_en provides 350 mA from each output (that are 8), and that abundantly covers the need for Strymon pedals
