Hey Strymon-Rack Mount Time Line 2 Please

I wish and pray that Strymon would make a 1U size rack mount version of the new Time Line 2. The pedal sounds amazing from all the demos I have watched and if a rack version was released, I would immediately put one in my L.A. Sound Design rack. PLEASE!! Seriously please.

Why not put it in a rack shelf? It might take up an extra space, but it's still possible.

I don't have any space. I would consider replacing the Roland SDE-330 with a rackmountable TL2:

It's interesting this post has happened so soon. Before the pedal came out, I posted in a thread that I was skeptical of buying it right away. People kepts saying it won't happen as the timeline is updateable.

Ergonomics and physical attributes are not updateable. A product with potentially such a wide and varied user base... is bound to evolve. There have already been requests for a bigger pedal house to accomodate more physical controls to access quickly.

I think it's inevitable some modifications will be done to the layout of the pedal and new features added.... just a question of how long they wait to do it.

Maybe you could pay someone to convert a pedal for you?

I actually think Strymon should make a super alomagadda Rack unit that does what all their pedal do. Simlar to what Eventide has (the Eclipse). The Eclispe is TimeFactor, Modfactor, Pitchfactor, and Blackhole, all under one hood. One rack space.

The Eclipse is also a lot more than just the Factor pedals though-the processing power and range of stunning textures and soundscapes is amazing and you should hear the H8000!

Haven't you heard? It's made by Damage Control.

I would buy it too in rack version, and i'm sure there are many others not addicted to pedals...

It could be a good solution for many little studio of recording.

I am not sure that will happen really, but I'd care much much more for a multi-fx including all their effects (being able of course to run at least 3 of them simultaneously), no matter whether it is a rack or a floorboard. I'd be sold in a nanosecond, no matter the price (well, perhaps that would matter a bit :P )

I thought the main point in the Timeline was to bring the features of some big ass rack delays into a small pedal format :-)

It sure was!! Lets face it rack sales are pretty small drop in the ocean compared to pedals, would be very surprised if they bothered with a rack version since they are a pedal company with very high sales!!
