People, PLEASE stop using "teh"!!!!
For some reason, I seem to see this pop up more on TGP than anywhere else.
What does it even mean anymore? For those who choose to use it, do you think it's "cool" or "hip" or maybe "sticking it to the man/spelling police"? Seriously?

General understanding and usage of the English language is devolving briskly enough as it is. Surely we can jettison this one small annoyance without too much effort on anybody's part. Yeah I know, freedom of speech, yaddyyaddya.

But for this?



Rant out.


PS--Yes I know, I myself used "teh" in this post. But for a reason, this time.

I'm not sure there is anything bar none lamer than people complaining about grammar on a casual discussion forum.

It is an exaggerated form of "the" and implys more or greater conveyance of meaning i.e. it sucks vs. it is teh sucks meaning it really sucks.

its been a part of the leet lexicon for some time and is not native or even used that much on TGP. If it really bothers you, stay away from 4chan.

You spelled yada yada wrong.

There are some words that I always type in wrong: "particularly" is one of them. It almost always comes out particulalry.
