57 Strat stolen in Seattle...in 1982.

Yep...I know...it's a longshot. In the fall of 82 I was living in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle...one night my wife and I came home to find our house had been burglarized...my beloved Stratocaster was gone. So was most everything we owned..even our clothes!...we called the police and filed a report..I went to all the pawnshops in the area but no dice.
This guitar would have had a natural finish...it had once been a sunburst type. I did know the serial # and I gave it to the police..but nada. The case was the brown type (not blond). I had earlier sent the serial # to Fender and they sent me a letter back with a lot of info about it..it was truly a 57...rosewood neck...the pickguard was a sort of a very pale mint green with black... I know I'm dreaming but if this sounds like a Strat you own or have seen please contact me.
