The neck on the 660 TP I owned was much wider than most Ricks. I don't know if that's also true of the 660.

I've only played 330s and 360s. I felt like i was playing a broom handle.. I couldn't dig it. I know it works great for other people, and they sound great, but it just doesn't work out. I love everything else about it though.

As a mandolin player since grade school, I have always been quite happy performing for the past 30 years with my slender little girl fingers. I found that the 360-12 I have and its narrow nut is perfect.

There wasn't any sucking it up. I'm not talking about a minor ache - I'm talkin' hurt like hell. I didn't want to get rid of that guitar...
It worked out though. Got a killer Hamer goldtop after I sold it. :-) |
