I'm looking at getting a usb external hard drive....

mostly for my itunes library, and a few hundred photos, documents, etc...
How would I determine which size capacity to order?
It comes in 160GB, 250GB etc....
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00176NOCM/...l_72owvd5k6l_b

Thanks for the help.
Russ

Get a one terabyte. You'll be glad you did. Not all that much more than a smaller one.

Look for something that connects via firewire, or even something with an eSATA connection (if your computer will connect that way, which it should). The difference in speed for transfering files is enormous, especially when comparing USB to eSATA.

The bigger the better. At the same time, some of the smaller ones don't need a power adapter, and that is super handy if you move it a lot. If you never move it....go huge.
