Cool little history lesson for Hendrix/Zappa fans.

What's cool for me is knowing that one of my cables has been plugged into that very guitar numerous times....

Anyone know if Dweezil ever found a buyer for this? He was asking $1million for it a couple years ago.

8 minutes, and they couldn't have plugged it in and et us hear it?

IIRC, Dweezil tried to sell this guitar years ago- i think the reserve price was a million (yes, you read that correctly), but the offers didn't even come close to that.

Glad to see it will actually be getting played again.

edit: looks like the poster above me beat me to it on the auction part....

That's awesome to see if put it back together how Frank originally had it. It's been through so many changes over years. I mean, that's not even the same set up he had a few months ago when he was on Letterman with Alice Cooper, was it?

What can I say, huge Zappa fan..this is the pic I have hanging in my studio above my monitors. :-)

Spot on to the original. Great job Dweezil!!! :-)

No buyers. At the time Dweezil was trying to sell the guitar to help fund updating Frank's studio.

He's been playing the Hendrix/Zappa guitar more recently, so I'm taking that he's decided to keep it.
