I thought this pedal looked pretty sweet a while back, and was never able to find much info. Was it based on a Jordan Bosstone? I can't remember now. I think it was a bit expensive.

Fantastic pedal. I LOVE mine (I think Voodoo Labs may have threatened to sue him for using the name "Boss Tone" (Just like they threatened to sue Wattson for using "Super Fuzz") buncha JERKS) so he changed it to "Buzz" tone. Anyway, He also makes an "Acid Tone" which, IMHO, is a better copy of a Mosrite FuzzRite than ANYONE including dam!

Seconded--great version of this classic fuzz--does the snarling 6Ts garage psych thing, but also thicker, juicier classic rock tones. A nice way-point between the Fuzzrite and Fuzz Face, imo. Option to switch out clipping diodes gives even more options. Will oscillate @ lowest gain settings, which is a signature of this circuit. Also look at the Monsterpiece AD2000 (mine is on the snarlier, more pissed off tip), PTD MiniBone/Bone Machine (even more cleanup and crazier tones, too). I don't have direct experience of them, but I believe that the Gooby Bag of Dicks and Voodoo Labs Super Fuzz are also variants of this circuit family (as I understand it there were at least two significant variations on the Boss Tone circuit back in the day). Demos of these sound great, too....
