Too Many Overdrives On One Board?

I have been working on my pedals and I now have the following OD's on the board:

TS 808 Reissue that I replaced the JRC4558D with old chip (way better now)

TS9 Turbo (same chip swap) Nice full sound different than 808

Barber Burn Unit- Older great sounding pedal...yes I swapped out the op-amp

King Of Tone- same thing has replaced old JRC opamps (2) Sounds so much better now.

So that is 4. (5 if you count the KOT x2). Too many?

Thanks.

The premise of the thread is an oxymoron.

4 is less than me, so not too many!

Is there such a thing as too many dirt pedals? Not on TGP!

I'm running 3 at the moment: Lunar Module Dlx, Eternity Burst, and Fetto Nord70.

I'm cool with three. They do sound quite different from one another. Life is good!

I have 5... Defiinitely don't need more.
It is possible to have too many... I did awhile back and purged some.
I'm pretty content right now, but 2 of those OD pedals are dual channel so yeah.

I have 3 drives and 2 fuzzes on the board. They're all different and I use them all when I'm with the band. Stacking also opens up even more options for sounds.

Again I put an old JRC4558D in it. I did it a number of years ago so I cannot really remember other than it made it sound more like my amp than the pedal. I misplaced the old chip and would love to get a replacement to try out the original again. I recall it was pretty cool...

I am most always fine with one OD and a Fuzz. For my playing I have not needed any more than that, and sometimes I only use one or the other. Probably has to do with me just wanting to keep things simple. If I have too many choices I would probably have a brain cramp.
I certainly can understand though that some need the versatility of a lot of differing type drive tones, especially when doing covers.
