Hello from northern Cali!

Hey guys!

Figured I should introduce myself before I attempt to contribute.
Well, I've never been a forum guy, but I've been lurking TGP and it seems to be a rad place full of knowledgeable musicians that I hope to be a part of. And I Love the classifieds! Great stuff!

Thanks for having me!

-Jacob

Welcome!

Welcome to TGP. For me it's the middle aged teenage wasteland of gear!

In a good way.

That sounds about right. But I'm more on the younger middle aged spectrum!

Yeah Rocklin has a great football team. They made it to SoCal this year for the championship. Although, I believe the lost.
Petaluma is beautiful! Wish I lived there. I love to surf but I'm too far away from the ocean!

Welcome Jacob from another northern California resident, Sebastopol to be exact. I used to surf but not here in No. Cal....too many great whites and the water is too cold

I have a fishing boat and drop my surfer friends off a various surf spots that are inaccessible by car or on foot. We have some great times.

I used to visit the 49er training camp in Rocklin...man does it get hot there in the summer.

Welcome aboard Jacob.

Yeah the temperature is blazing here. This summer has actually been rather well compared to past summers. 110 degrees has been about the highest, so no complaints actually.
Are shark attacks really that abundant around the bay?

No, but every year someone gets attacked it seems. I go salmon fishing out of Bodega Bay and see great whites frequently. The area near the mouth of Tomales Bay is a breeding grounds for sharks, and we're part of the "Red Triangle" which stretches from Bodega Bay, out to the Farallon Islands, and down to Big Sur. It's where the majority of Great Whites along the coast congregate.

Nice! I've played at the Bayside Woodland many times!
It's not as much of a pile as Yuba City! That's where I'm from...
