Get a PC...much better. Firefox for Mac is okay....PC's in general are better.

Wow, I misread that as Netflix. Yeah, do they still make and support Netscape? I kind of doubt it. Firefox or google Chrome for Mac.

Netscape is prehistoric. No wonder your having so many problems with it. It's the worst you can possibly get.

Final version was from 2008. It's a dead browser no longer being supported - meaning even if it loads, things like flash and other plugins will crash it. Upgrade to Firefox or Google Chrome. Both are free. Alternatively use Safari (which I've never had a problem with).

Firefox and Chrome as well as Safari both run great on my Mac Mini. They also run great on my PC. I predict this thread is going to be shutdown by netscape.

You'll likely never get an actual real suggestion here because most people commenting probably never used this software.

You'll only get people telling you "Ditch it ; use something else," but people (especially elderly folks) are quite set in their ways and don't want to learn another software.

At this point, I'd honestly suggest you bring it to an Apple store, unless you feel like scavenging Apple-related forums for troubleshooting steps or procedures that might or might not work. Better yet, if you don't have Apple Care, bring it to a computer shop that also repairs Apple computers, because it'll likely be cheaper.
