Great Customer Service @ Barber Elec.

Just wanted to let everyone know what a great warranty Barber Electronics offers on its products. The praise has probably been sung before, but I experienced first-hand the sort of stand-by-our-products mantra this Co. provides that commercial sellers and boutique sellers alike seldom offer.

My pedal seemed to have a little added hum and a broken solder joint was the suspect. David Barber informed me in an email that this is what the warranty was for and just to send it in. The fixed it up right and shipped it back out to me free of charge, and with a pretty good turn around time.

I bought the pedal in 2006 or 7. So I would have been okay buying another. But that's not the way they do things over there at Barber. They stand by the products like nobody else. And I'm looking at a matching dual discrete or maybe a half gainer for my next buy.

Yep. Only ever had to go the customer service route with Barber once, but they went above and beyond...

That's good to know. I've owned a bunch of Barber pedals, currently have the 1/2 Gainer and Burn Unit EQ, but I've never needed any customer service.
