NGD! My First On TGP!

New Gibson Les Paul Traditional Plus in Lightburst! Has the nice 50's neck which is a nice handful. Really liking the 57'classic pickups on this thing! The neck pickup has that LP creaminess going without the muddiness I get from the 490R on my Studio. The 57' classic plus bridge doesn't have the upper midgrange thing of the 498t and is a little less hot. I like the 498t in my studio and SG But these 57' classics have that classic LP thing. I am really liking it. Really love the lightburst. Was between this and the Wine Red. The burst is a lighter shade then most I have seen. Has more of an amber thing going on.

My home scale reads 9.4lbs. Feels every bit of that. But I am used to the weight of my studios(chambered) and my SG.

Thanks! I will! And I agree. My Studio with the 498T/490R is a great guitar...may have to change the 490 in the neck though. It sounds great. My other studio is one of the 50's Tributes and it to is a wonderful sounding and playing guitar. All three seem to have their own thing happening which is exactly what I want!

Nice looking axe. If an LP doesn't hurt your back they didn't build it right!
