Talking "New" Brownface Super Amp(s)?

I recently heard a Brown Super Amp and think its gotta be the best medium-sized dirty rhythm amp I've heard... IMHO, etc.

I've looked through the usuall suspects for Fender type amps and haven't found anyone that can make a Brown Super. Marsh makes a Brown Vibroverb and a 6G6-A Bassman, and Chicken Picken' isnt building again till fall, Hayes Amps isn't taking orders either. E-mailed Vintage Sound. Do you guys know of anyone who can/would make one? Or even where I can find a chassis and faceplates? I'll gladly build it myself.

Thanks for any help. Here's to hoping!

We can build the circuit, but not on the original size chassis!

Look at Allen Amps. They even have kits if you want to build it your self. I have one and it's the best amp I have ever had.

If you look around brown Supers can still be had a 2500 and less...by the time you get a custom amp built it'll easily cost that much or more and might not make you as happy plus resale will not be what you paid by a long shot...

Why not just get a Brown Super?

I agree .. that`s what I did .. I actually found 2 in the $1600 range ,,both from `60 w the 6 tube pre ...they had some changes (no back panel, one had a non orig tranny ,1 had non orig speakers ) ...but they both tuned up fine and sounded great . i sold the one with the holes drilled in the side for handles and kept the one with the old jensens. LOVE these for a clean with more dimension in the mids than the blackface .
