Wah without that horrid top end ?

Ive played wahs that are great in the middle registers but grating at the top, what is a wah that isnt ice picky on the ear at the top end of its range and is nice and smooth ?

Yep,
That's what I use and I love it. It is the most growling, angry wah that I have ever owned without being harsh on top at all.

Chicago Iron is a cool company

You can check out the Teese Wizard Wah, Great wah with out piercing highs, Or my favorite the Fulltone Clyde Deluxe set in the wacked mode will keep it set as a Darker wah tone but I play it in the Jimi setting which is more of that Vox clyde tone but not super bright!.

The Dunlop Crybaby Classic is also very good if your on a budget!

I've only ever owned a Crybaby that I had since the late 80s or so, but I recently replaced it with the Fulltone Clyde Deluxe (another pricey one unfortunately). There's no way I'd ever go back to the Crybaby now...the Fulltone sounds incredible. It's hard for me to imagine one sounding better. But I've not tried enough to know for sure.

no budgetary requirements dude, just looking for honey sweet wah tone, it sucks when you are playing your heart out and you cant "really hear" what you playing because of biting wah tone.

You could always adjust the sweep.

The Parachute is the single greatest pedal I have ever owned, also its the most expensive of the lot

Its worth it, but its cost is only just outdone by its amazing tone

Interesting... that's one thing I didn't like about it. To me, the standard Dunlop casing is the perfect pedal action - just the right sweep and angle at both ends for precise control.

I don't like any of the extended-sweep pedals, whether it's at the heel or toe end - although I find too much range at the toe end worse... Morleys are unusable, for me.
