Rockett Pedals rule.

Been playing with the Rocketts a few weeks now,

I´ve been through most of the Lovepedal / Mad Professor / Wampler / MI Audio / Xotic line in the past few years,

the Rocketts smoke every other pedal I´ve played.

In particular the Animal and the Blue Note, the dynamics, clarity, note separation and the quality of the overdrive itself are something I´ve yet to experience from a pedal.

I didn't care too much for the Chicken Soup and sold it but I have to agree that the Animal is the best Plexi-style pedal that I've ever played. In my opinion it is far better than the Crunchbox, Stone Grey, Pinnace and Plextortion that i owned. All the gain on tap but much more open like my vintage Plexi when it's cooking and it has a very usable EQ. Sold them all once I plugged through an Animal.

Also got the Animal and very happy with it!
I love the fact it has a bass and treble control.
I think it sounds very open without having any artifacts.

It kinda replaced my Boiling Point, I traded my Boiling Point for something else.

The openness of the pedals is amazing - and the EQ controls are just right! No shrill top end or flabby / boomy bottom.

I kinda dug the Chicken Soup, especially with a Tele in the bridge position. Not as versatile as the other pedals they have though.

The 10 Ton Hammer might be good for the metal folks, but for my use it is way too gainy..

I actually stack the Animal into the Afterburner. Surprisingly it works extremely well with single coils. With the Strat vol on 5 it screams, but still retains all the single coil tone signature. This is my holy grail lead tone.

mine works well with single coils-fenders/marshalls -a pedal that is a little off the forum radar .

I've been wondering why they aren't mentioned on this group very often. I've heard some really amazing stuff from them. I don't own any yet, but I've been thinking about the flex tone for a while now, as a nice addition to my KOT.

I got a Chicken Soup a few weeks ago and love it! It's great for country rock tones and it works really well boosting my Suhr Riot too.

I had a Josh Smith Tremolo Pedal and it was nice. I would have kept it if it weren't for the annoying bright, blinking white lights. Whatever happened to the Mark Sampson Vox/Matchless pedal they were going put out?

Had a Flex Drive and an Aminal. Really like the tones & would have kept them (along with the wampler Superplextortion and Plexidrive.)
however they all had much more noise than other pedals.
My other pedals were much quieter.
