PRS 2 Channel "C" amp combo!!!

I asked PRS to build a 1x12 combo cab for my 2 Channel C amp head and they did. It's essentially the same as the 1x12 closed back, wide mouth combo cab they build for the H amp. The build quality is great and it sounds killer.

They don't sell the C amp as a combo so I was fortunate they agreed to build me a cab for my head.

Well I was a big fan of this amp from the first time i heard one. I find the lead channel to have a rich overdrive/distortion with quite a bit of flexibility with the EQ. Rolling back the guitar volume knob results in nice clean and semi-clean sounds from the lead channel. The clean channel is very flexible as well. The clean channel has a gain knob so it can get some overdrive too. I also like the effects loop, the reverb and the separate EQ's of both channels.

On a separate note I got a chance to play a PRS 2 Channel H amp in a 1x12 combo format and I liked that a lot too. I found the H amp to be quite similar to the C amp except the H amp was a little more aggressive, (in a good way).

I'm a fan of both the PRS 2 Channel C amp and the 2 Channel H amp.
