Mellow jazzy Lester moment...TONE/CHOPS/FEEL

By a true master. Makes a pretty strong case for a neck humbucker and a bit of reverb.

Enjoy...

I need a Teddy Bear to put in front of my amp ...

I'd say the Teddy Bear is 75% of his sound

Really adds to the mellowness.

actual GC conversation...

guy walks in asking a clerk for a guitar for playing jazz

"how about a les paul?" clerk says

random guy who overheard everything - "a les paul? who uses a les paul for JAZZ?"

clerk - "well Les Paul...for one..."

I was thinking about this the other day..... The Les Paul was made to sound smooth and mellow for jazz. Yet it is the quintessential rock guitar. Ironic.

It doesn't really get much more tasteful than that.
